May I suggest you pop in to your local library and enquire there? My local library has a bank of computers and perhaps a staff member there may assist or know someone that can assist in the process. If you go armed with passport, proof of address in Australia and the other documents I’m sure there’ll be help available. Good luck!

that’s an exceedingly rude comment. Perhaps you’re amusing yourself with a wind up comment to enjoy the responses, like mine. If you’re serious then karma applies to you too.

To apply for an extension to your visa waiver, go to IT Square at Laksi. It’s on the third floor. Keep an eye on opening hours and days. The fee is 1900 THB. If you have an up to date passport size photo, take that. Otherwise you can get them done near to the immigration area. Copies of passport etc can be done there too.

Make sure you can show the funds are coming from outside Thailand so that should you sell the condo in the future, you are then able to repatriate those funds.

If you’re a Tops online shopper, you can use points that way too. Just prior to popping your credit card details in, the site asks if you want to use any points. Your question was definitely valid, not amusing at all - I’m sure lots of us are in the same boat!

thanks for that response. My income will be derived from rentals in my home country rather than superannuation/ pension. I have copies of the lease agreements, bank statements etc showing the balances, but the conundrum was the BOI statement income derived from salary could not be taken into account - for me that only just ceased. The rentals will kick in as income once I move out and tenants move in.
