Can I leave Thailand and return for another visa exemption extension after an initial stay?

hello

I have been in Thailand for five days and I will stay there for thirty days with probably a visa exemption extension of 60 days.

I didn't apply for a visa before booking my ticket because there was talk of possible visa waiver extended to 60 days, still being considered.

In the event that I would like to stay longer, do I really have the possibility to leave the country and return there again, stay again with exemption and extension of 4 months.

Or will it block for sure or maybe

What would be the solution knowing that I'm in Thailand right now?

In the event of my visa exemption being extended, what documents do I really need besides my passport and where exactly do I need to go in Bangkok?

Thanks in advance for your replies and kindness.

Bonjour.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is inquiring about the possibility of extending their stay in Thailand under a visa exemption and what steps to take if they wish to remain longer than their initial 30-day allowance. Responses suggest that they can extend their stay at immigration for an additional 30 days for a fee of 1,900 THB, and after this extension, they would have to leave Thailand and return for a new stay under the visa exemption. For the extension of their visa exemption, it is recommended to visit IT Square at Laksi, with their passport and a passport-size photo, and to check operating hours.

For a 4-5 month stay you'dbest get a multi-entry Tourist Visa which is valid for 6 months and you get stamped in for 60 days every entry which can be extended once for a further 30 days. TR is tourism so a TR60 is a 60 day Tourist Visa.

To apply for an extension to your visa waiver, go to IT Square at Laksi. It’s on the third floor. Keep an eye on opening hours and days. The fee is 1900 THB. If you have an up to date passport size photo, take that. Otherwise you can get them done near to the immigration area. Copies of passport etc can be done there too.

Visa exempt 30 day stamp in your passport. Need 30 more days? Go to immigration and ask for another 30 days and pay 1900baht.

After 60 days, leave Thailand and come back. Do the same 30.+ 30. Need real visa? Go back home and make request online.
