I know superich do, and think they may be the only ones that do. I've never changed currency in Bangkok and I don't think super rich have anywhere beyond. I could be wrong. Though the difference is very little

@Paulie *******
uk embassy would look after uk issues. Thai embassy would be what you are looking for 🤷‍♂️
Stephen ********
Why would you call a UK embassy? 🤷‍♂️
Stephen ********
We applied nearly straight away, though didn't travel back to the UK for 2-3 months

Second one was a 2 year visitor. And didn't take that long for processing, maybe 6 weeks

@Nongnuch *******
if they had an METV then no re entry permit needed as it is already multi entry
Stephen ********
You could look at the 6 month Multi Entry Tourist Visa, you could squeeze close to 9 months out of it. With the new visa exempt being so new, there is bound to be some vagueness, so an actual visa will do away with any of that
Stephen ********
Apply for a 6 month multi entry tourist visa and you'll be good for nearly 9 months floating in and out
