unfortunately I'm Seldom in Bangkok 🤷‍♂️ TT would be a major player and they don't offer a better exchange rate for higher notes. But are generally very competitive with their rates. Strange comment how you can say others rates are rubbish without knowing. I find 0.05 of a baht not worth running around for 🤷‍♂️

Depends whereabouts you are. I did last November at Bangkok Bank on soi baukhao

Stephen ********

@Paulie *******
uk embassy would look after uk issues. Thai embassy would be what you are looking for 🤷‍♂️
Stephen ********
Why would you call a UK embassy? 🤷‍♂️
Stephen ********
We applied nearly straight away, though didn't travel back to the UK for 2-3 months

Second one was a 2 year visitor. And didn't take that long for processing, maybe 6 weeks

@Nongnuch *******
if they had an METV then no re entry permit needed as it is already multi entry

You could look at the 6 month Multi Entry Tourist Visa, you could squeeze close to 9 months out of it. With the new visa exempt being so new, there is bound to be some vagueness, so an actual visa will do away with any of that
