It’s been a few months since I arrived but I can tell you. When you get thru immigration someone will escort you to where you need to go process the paperwork and pay customs. Then they will escort you to the ASQ car/van. At that point you can have family, friend or dog hotel come get them from you. And you take off for your fun quarantine. I’m totally surprised at the people that are already here and keep asking if they can go to Pattaya or Hua Hin or Phuket. Everywhere has problems. Stay home for a little while and let things settle down.

If you are looking to get a Thai passport for a Thai then you go to a passport office there are several of them

When I renewed my NON O marriage visa back in December there was a lady that was changing from Retirement to NON O because she just got married. Not sure why you can’t get it done. Just make sure you have all the paperwork needed. Good luck.

You can have family or friend pick the cat up at the airport when you arrive. Or make arrangements to have him boarded until you get out.

not true. Headache is a symptom of Covid 19. In Thailand everyone is admitted if you become positive. Most insurances pat anyway but if you have one that need symptoms. Headache, fever, sore throat are all symptoms. Most Drs at most hospitals automatically put down symptoms for you to make sure the insurance will pay.

It actually says Overstay less than 24 hours. No penalty.

There is still lots of Thais coming back and they stay for free. I personally know many that have come back from the US. They all just pay for the one way flight organized by the Thai Embassy. They then go to SQ once they arrive in Bangkok. Most of them say it’s very nice, clean with great food.
