That amount alerts USA government. I did 9000 usd max each time transferring USD to my Thai bank account and didn’t pay near that much. (8 years ago so may have changed in price.). I suggest transferring USD to THB in your Thai bank account directly. I’ve never transferred USD to Thailand and deposited it as USD. THAI bank fee is 500 baht I believe but as said above the exchange rate is about 10% worse than using wise. You can fill out the form in the app but don’t complete the transaction until you compare using Schwab. Let us know what you find out.

airport assistance? Do tell. I have LTR and travel frequently. Only perk at the airport is no immigration line at the LTR counter. Let me know if I’m missing something.
