Same sex marriage only passed in Thai law recently so I shouldnt think it would be a problem. Thai laws are known to change at any given time and usually notice is very short or nil! So 6 years is like eternity to Thai people but I doubt a law passed like that would ever be reversed

From what I have taken from your post, Id apply quickly while you are waiting for your final payslip from the online teaching company but not sure if that would be breaking laws which I would not recommend obviously!
