Sue Heimchen Someone else had pointed out that each province can be different. This is 100% accurate. Not just with the 90 day but with visa applications etc. You pretty much need to speak with people from your area who use the same immigration office that you use. And even go there to find out.
Initially I tried to start my retirement visa process while in Thailand. I figured it would be easier. I was also told it would be easier. I finally gave up and applied for the non o when I got back home. Then came back and did my extension.
I've been in Thailand for 3+ years now. Have never used an agent for my visa extensions, bank account, Thai Driver's license, 90 day reports, etc. Not necessary.
You don't need to show 12 months on your initial visa extension. I'm just trying to be helpful and answer your questions bud. You seem to want to argue each point. Good luck to you.
