TLDR : Answer Summary
For a first-time 90-day immigration check-in in Thailand, the common required documents are: your passport, a completed TM47 form, and a TM30 receipt (which typically comes from your landlord). Some immigration offices may also ask for additional documents like a rental contract or copies of your previous entry stamp. The requirements can vary by location, so it's advisable to check the specific rules for the immigration office you will be visiting. Generally, the process is quick and can take as little as 10 minutes.

In Chiang Rai just walk in, hand him or her your passport, they return it a minute later, you thank them profusely for being so efficient, they smile, you leave.

Some Immigration Offices are asking to see an updated copy of your bank book if you used the 800k method so update it on the day after doing a small deposit/withdrawal just in case

Think it depends on which office you front up at, I just take passport, with DM6 inside and say 90 day report 10 minutes later called to the counter and they hand me my passport with new receipt of notification paper. See you in 3 months.

just bring your passport. your tm30 should already be in the system. if it's your first time make sure you have a copy of that.

for me I just go with my girl and we bring our house book. 5 minutes in and out. and then we go eat. it's worth to drive of an hour and a half every 90 days for me.

I did my 90 day report through an agent 200 Bart they did it all no forms to fill in , Cambodia visa very helpful.
Like

Andy ********
Stephen Angel so you went to the agent dropped off your passport and paid 200 Baht. Then a few days later you went to the agent to pick up your passport.

This is better than just going to immigration and doing a 90 report and never being without your passport how?

Did that in January - they wanted my passport, a filled TM47, my rental contract and last TM30 slip. That’s it. Took like 10 minutes and, there even was a lady at the entrance helping verify if you have everything you need before issuing you a cue number - super nice and smooth experience, Hua Hin Bluport Immigration
