Ashley i am in phuket with the family. There is no scaremongering. All the thai people i speak with are well aware of what is going on. Yes phuket is quiet and a reset of buisiness is required. But it will return as soon as world conditions allow.

I think if visa expired and government already stated there will be no further extensions beyond the 26th September then anyone who does not have a valid visa will have to leave. The government may extend this amnesty again who knows.

i have lost my card on several occasions never had a bother getting it replaced. Suppose its who you are dealing with. I find being polite and courteous works every time.

never had a problem with bbk in 8 years. Transfer money every month from uk. Spoke with the manager at my branch. As long as you have correct visa. Not tourist. They were very accommodating and set everything up including online banking.

i am a brit not a tourist. married to a thai and like many people waiting to get home to my family. Just pointing out its lazy journalism as usual from the bbc. As far as anyone knows they could have picked up the virus anywhere.

if you read the report it does not state they were brits. The journey started in the uk Via doha then brisbane. Lot of assumptions being made.
