and others said the same, how on earth they gave a five year visa for a 2 week course is ridiculous and it's logical if pulled on re entry to havebto explain, have you not read people reporting exactly that. It's not all Rose tinted glasses, hard facts are not sometimes the bouquet you were hoping for.

this is a forum, she posted and everyone is entitled to reply. I don't make law, I see, hear and have my own thoughts and opinions. You don't like that then move on.

Have you read about people being interrogated upon re entry to justify there being in the kingdom under soft power! Expect to be able to explain how to cook several Thai dishes if they pull you.

People are correct, why a 5 year visa for a 2 week course, ask yourself, if its questionable then expect questions.

It's right, people like you ruin it for the rest and people telling you how to get around it are just as bad.

Some truth in what your saying, but not due to extensions although can be problematic depending upon the immigration office, moreover, it's the rest of the ways around this visa that may cause its demise.

Can ask you anything and everything re the DTV, documents provided, what your doing this for, 5 year plan.....

see if the tighten up more and start asking to see at each arrival as well! Flights and accommodation cost as well. Agreed may not be an option for everyone.

The 500k is needed to remain in the bank for extensions at present, but can be asked for at anytime. Question is pertinent you need addl income for daily living. Your 100 won't cover the soft power alone.

This is why I'm saying to just keep the 500k untouched for the duration of the visa.
