the prices for items ordered from Lazada are include all taxes and shipping costs, regardless from where they are shipped. However, I don't know how they handle the custom clearance. It's not about deliveries from Lazada. Maarten mentioned there is a 0% VAT agreement between China and Thailand which is not correct. Any import is subject to VAT, regardless of origin and its just a question on how companies like Lazada handle the import process.

No you're wrong. Lazada shipments already include the VAT. Incoterm DDP.

you need to pay VAT on everything you import. What you might referring to is the Form E (ASEAN China FTA) which regulates the import duties on certain goods.

you can't work on a marriage visa without a work permit, even if you don't get paid. Besides that, he said girlfriend so not even a non O based on marriage unless they have kids together.

oh sorry I misunderstand. If you are single and don't have a Thai wife or Thai child to take care of, I am afraid the Non OA might be the only way for you. But I might be wrong. You can ask an expert about it.
