TLDR : Answer Summary
The Cambodia land border is currently open for vaccinated travelers, allowing for border crossings which include the option to drive to Phnom Penh. However, bringing Thai registered vehicles into Cambodia is not officially permitted. For those planning a road trip to Singapore, significant paperwork is needed, including insurance and registration adjustments. It is recommended to first drive to Malaysia and then to Singapore, ensuring compliance with local regulations regarding vehicle modifications and documentation.

Yes the land border is open to the vaccinated. Unvaccinated quarantine for 7 days (zero with PCR test on the way back into Thailand).

Yes cars are allowed across the borders again at least some of them. Best one is Chong Chom for entry into Cambodia. Return to Thailand can theoretically be any crossing, such as Chong Sa-ngam, Aranyaprathet or Pailin/Pong Nam Ron.

This is for driving foreign cars into Singapore. Do also note that the immigration will also inspect your car for modifications or dark windows which are illegal in Singapore.

Hope it addresses what u need

If the car is yours and not owned by the bank, you can drive BUT there is hell a lot of paperwork involved. First, in order to drive to Singapore, you need to bring the car to Malaysia first, pay insurance and road tax, get your car plate sticker with English letters, check that your window tint is not too dark and so on. Then, at Johor Bahru checkpoints to Singapore, you have to get an Autopass card. I've driven Malaysia registered vehicles in Singapore and Thailand. I've driven Singapore registered cars in Malaysia. I've driven Thailand registered vehicles in Malaysia but not in Singapore, so not sure what you need to bring to get the Autopass. For Cambodia, I think it's not permitted to bring Thai registered vehicles officially. Better take a road trip within Thailand only.

You can bring Thai vehicles to Cambodia. I've done it several times. No problem bringing a Thai vehicle into Singapore. I've seen Thai vehicles on the roads there.

Cambodia land border is open. At least for border bounces.
Paul *******
Yes you do. Also, why would you want to do border runs? Get a proper visa. Thai immigration won't let you back in any more.

read the link above.

Yes it's sponsored by a Thai visa agent, which is one option to avoid having to go on a stupid visa run.

@Paul ******
the group is sponsored by a visa agent, yes. But not the OP. But there you have proof that Cambodia is open for visa runs and border bounces.
Paul *******
It's open but not for border bounces. You have to stay in Cambodia for a couple of days.

@Paul ******
no you don't. Only if you've been in Thailand for the last 2 years on repeated covid extensions. Then maybe you'd have problems returning in under 24 hours.
Paul *******
It's definitely not open for border bounces given the Thailand Pass. Also, why would anyone do a "border bounce"?
Lisa ********************
@Paul ******
yes it is open. And can go and return within 24 hours. Most people apply for their TP before they leave Thailand. Lao opened it's borders on the 9th. A border bounce is to re-enter Thailand and get another 30+ days in the Kingdom.
