Ah OK, but you'd need your financials in place for your subsequent renewals? Like monthly income (or 800k seasoned) before applying?

I've never quite understood the advantage of leaving/re-entering the country to get re-stamped on an O-A 50+? A new visa costs Bt1900, it would cost me more to leave/come back. What are the advantages?

As others have said BT 205 for car, BT 105 for bike. Around Bt100 for a med certificate issued at a clinic. Certificate of residence issued by your immigration office (in Korat it's free).

What's the advantage of using a Wise card linked to your Thai account? The Thai banks apps are great for paying by scan at most places and if not manual transfer. What's the advantage of using the Wise card?

Must be completely different where you live then, at Korat immigration you need: residency certificate application form,

copies of - all pages in passport, picture/details pages, all pages with visas or stamps (but not blank ones), arrival card TM6 both sides, receipt of residence notification, passport size picture. 7 day turn around and the certificate (and additional copy if requested) are issued free of charge.

I guess different offices are different. Ours wanted 2 certificates, one for each licence.

You'll need a certificate of residence also, infact 2, one for each licence.
