Does the immigration officer in Thailand has the rights to deny entry unless shown a return ticket within 30 days even if the passport allows 30 addl days extension?
So basically, what I understood is if I enter Thailand for example on 1st June with my Tourist Visa , getting an exit stamp of 30th July , and leave on 20th June with a re entry stamp , and come back again on 15th July , I can’t stay more than 15 days and I still have to leave by 30th July.
So, for extension do we need a letter from the embassy or are they giving ‘under consideration’ stamp for everyone even without any documents other than passport? Any update from anyone at Chonburi immigration?
The officer I just spoke to, checked both my passport and WP, his words are ‘ ok if your business finish, you can still stay till number 26 September’ and I reconfirmed’ for this Non-B visa krub, and he said yes no problem it’s for all.
It’s the same officer who is there for last 2 years.
But I will still go and cancel my work permit on Wednesday after the holiday.
