Definitely not true arrived yesterday at BKK around 4.30 pm this was my first entry. Coming from Saigon with my brand new visa. Worst part FORGOT THE PRINTOUT AT THE LOUNGE. I was ready for them to take me to secondary as again this was my fault. When i met the officer said NEW DTV VISA LOUND AND CLEAR and show her my phone with the pdf file . Did fingerprints and im good through december 5th …. So this was yesterday for me i think you just got really unlucky. Tourist numbers are down again for low season. They want us her brother otherwise they would not have this visa 🙏 good luck to everyone . Im really glad i dont have to do any border runs anymore and can call Bangkok for the next 5 years 🏡

Not true. I arrived via Suvarnabhumi just last night. Went through the regular line. Other than waiting for the normal queue, the processing takes about 1~2 minutes. No questions asked.

If it was an official new process, it would have been made public as per any new immigration changes. Just an "experience" by an individual.

Enter first time DMK last night. The officer was asked to show return ticket then she realized i have DTV got 6 months stamp without any more question

When I travel, I travel with a cane. It is much easier.

Arrived literary 20 minutes back and zero hassles and same same as before.

Just came in under 30 days ago didn’t see anything like that walked right to normal and showed a print off and was asked how long you think you’ll stay and where I planned to go after then stamp
