you can extend your 60 day tourist visa stay by another 30 days, THB 1,900.-, just passport, one picture and Immigration will ask some addl copies of some passport pages, like the departure card, visa, entry stamp. In Chaeng Watana you can apply for extension after your first 30 days stay in Thailand are completed. When you come back you can get a 30 day visa waiver stamp at either airport or land border, this you can extend by another 30 days at Thai Immigration inside Thailand. With your schedule it is OK to do this way.
