In the past 12 months I have a METV that expired back in January plus two visa exempts.
My hotel (V Hotel Phnom Penh) organised the visa for me for $54 USD. I didn't have to go to the embassy at all and all I had to provide was Passport Photo, Print out of my bank balance and a flight out of the country within 90 days. They did this over 3 business days.
All in all, the service was $14 on top of the visa cost which saved me 4 taxi rides and a lot of heart ache/waiting.
Cheers

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the ease of obtaining a visa in Phnom Penh, Cambodia for an Australian passport holder. The hotel arranged the visa for $54, requiring only basic documents like a passport photo, bank statement, and departure flight. Comments include inquiries about the necessary bank balance, experiences with visa processing times, and some confusion regarding whether the discussion was about Cambodia or Thailand.
Hi Cody, we are about to do the same here in PP but just wondering about flights as we plan to extend the 60-day SETV by another 30 days when in Thailand. You mentioned a flight out within 90 days was ok, is that right?
