yep it seems Aussie immigration are quick to get suspicious ...I did a few trips then they wanted to go thru my phone ..iPad. Wanted password checked my social media !!

Stupid requirement ...many now just buy the cheap fake tickets and never use them .

I wish it was straightforward.....sometimes you may be asked by a particular airline ...at other times not asked ....seems particularly arbitrary and annoying

I wish there was a rule and that they'd all adhere to it ....I don't want to book onward flights if it's unnecessary ...it's frustrating and annoying . Most times I don't need to buy an onward flight but when you get to the check in counter and asked for proof it's a pain . I've always travelled with an open itinary and prefer to be flexible with my plans ....just inconvenient.
