Does having a yellow book for house registration automatically provide a TM-30 for foreigners in Thailand?

Contrary to what the answers here are expressing, I have a yellow book and a non o visa based on marriage and the yellow book suffices for a TM 30 substitute. That is my recent experience on Koh Samui. The Immigration Department in other provinces maybe different.

Yes Brandon that's 100% correct. I've just been through the process of getting a non-o and converting it to a non-o based on marriage. There was no criminal record check.

Trolls and keyboard warriors are the norm these days. It seems to me that they are basically unhappy people who get off on upsetting people.
