every bank in Europe too scale the number of branches back. Branches need people and if there is a movement of less bankvisits because of most of the activities can and are done from the home adress of the clients.so less visitors at the offices needed. Fi koh chang. All the banks minus two are being closed the last four years

you can have bankaccount if you live in thailand and have longstanding visum. Banks do not want to open bankaccount for people who live here short time

Maybe better to go to the ltr office in Bangkok. There are the people who handle this or maybe a phonecall to the ltr office. My experience is that they are really helpful. I am sure they have provided a reason why you are refused. Why did you that not mention?

I expect not. Why should it. You can get a ltr visa on your own and your wife too. But each must comply with the requirement: income health insurance and age

Maybe a misunderstanding from your side. Is not conform.requirements. yes I believe 10 months insurance from the date your application..the other requirements maybe misunderstanding. Two years before today I believe the ltr visa did not exist.

I know. My remark was made because somebody wrote that he needed to have 800.000 in bankaccount and 80.000 passive income. I am fully aware of the requirements got it about two years ago as one of the first appicants
