I booked a flight just before Christmas, paid for the return trip when I booked it
then 3 weeks before the flight date I got a phone call and an email saying the outbound flight was cancelled due to operational difficulties. I went to the airport as its 5 minutes away from home, I spoke with the girl on the desk and told her my 11.30 flight had been cancelled, she looked on her computer and asked me if I wanted to book a flight the same day but a different time I said yes please that would be perfect.
she told me they had seats available on 3 other flights, I chose the 1.30 flight. she then asked me for my booking receipt with my reference number. when she typed in the number suddenly all the flights became unavailable. no seats to book. but I could fly out the day before or the day after. I declined this offer as we needed to fly that day. so now I was asked if I wanted to cancel the return flight as the outbound flight was no longer available. yes please was my reply. now the fun begins, can I have my money back please, no sir you can't it will be paid to your bank in 45 days. but I paid you as I booked the tickets, you cancelled the flight not me, give me back my money. sorry sir company policy 45 days paid to your bank. Well 45 days came and went with no refund. so off we go to the airport once again, now I'm told OH thats 45 days but not including weekends sir, I'm so sorry for your inconvenience. yes NOK AIR.COM so am I. the way you treat your customers is appalling, I'm still waiting for my refund, I'm sure you don't care, but I will never use your company again. if anyone mentions your company to me I'll advise them to use another airline. I really hope you go out of business, because the way you treat your customers you don't deserve to have a business.
to get your 3 month visa you had to show all of those things on your application, so the migration officer would know you have all of them when you gave him your passport and visa.
I'm guessing it depends what country you're sending from. I used parcel force from British Post office, I sent 6 boxes of clothes, trainers, hoodies, and other bits and pieces. I sent all six as a consignment, in total 38kg. Cost me £324, arrived at Thai address five days later. No import duties, no VAT, nothing at all to pay. I listed all items on customs declaration with value. And also wrote, all items were my own property not for resale.
