What are the insurance requirements for extending an OA visa from within Thailand?
Can anyone advise what value of insurance which is currently required to extend OA visa from within Thailand? ( Chiang Mai).
Does the insurance have to be from an approved Thai list or will an internationally sourced (UK) policy be accepted?
If an international policy is acceptable is their a requirement for the policy to be pre- approved by immigration or subject to any other Gov / Immigration approvals ? TIA.

Doesn't the change to Bt3m take affect from 1st of September with visa extensions before that date being under the old rules?Paul **********
