Notarized document was not ever mentioned or needed for LA Consulate…..

I have come in 3 times with DTV. Immigration did not ask for exit ticket.

Neither did the airlines.

I used the LA office because that’s where I live. I hope you can use another office because they are probably swamped with problems from the fire…Thaitown was there….

For the address, I used the maps app with a blue dot of my house and my driver’s license next to it. I took a photo and sent that.

For the bank, I used a photo of my USA bank account..bank name, date, amount of money…taken from my computer. They did not accept a screen shot of my bank app.

For the class acceptance letter, either ask for a 1 page summary or put all 6 photos on 1 screen and take a photo of that.

They will often ask for more documents anyways after this initial set of information.

Tell us what type of work you do that will qualify for DTV…
Cliff *********
No it has not been a requirement by thr the embassies.

Of course it is a good idea…

You should not have any problem with the flight number or date on your visa application.

Flights change and get cancelled often. Plans change.

Immigration is aware of this.

Try taking a screenshot.

Then send to yourself as an email.

I used Gmail.

Then choose the lowest resolution smallest data size.

Why would anyone want to do that?

You can just read a book and eat some snacks if you don’t want the screen time……

Look like a bum, get treated like one….

Try to look presentable.

Have all of your documents ready.

Have the 3 proofs available.

If you have been trying to live long term they will know it.

Different people’s biological clock adjust at different rates. Generally it’s 1 day per hour of time zone difference.

So from Los Angeles it’s 12+
***
=14-15 hours time zone difference.

I find it takes about a week to adjust to arriving in Thailand and about 2 weeks on returning to Los Angeles.

You can help your clock adjust by having a lot of daylight during the daytime of your new place and really limiting bright light at night time.

Also try to have a quiet place for sleeping.

Melatonin is the sleep hormone that adjusts the clock.

It is helpful to take it at your new bedtime.

Don’t push yourself too hard.
