I’m trying to complete the Thai E-Visa. I’m at the point where I need to upload a photo. “The photo must be under 3MB!”
I am stuck at this part. I’ve tried taking the lowest res photos that I can. Still cannot proceed past this point.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is facing issues in uploading a photo for their Thai E-Visa due to size constraints (under 3MB). Various community members suggested multiple methods to reduce the photo size, including using photo resizing websites, email compression, taking screenshots, changing file formats, and utilizing applications like MSPaint. Additional advice included using specific tools like Image Resizer for Windows and Panda's online compression service. There was also a brief discussion about visa application confusion, but the main focus remained on photo resizing solutions.
Thanks for the info, it's all a little confusing to me.
Hope I didn't confuse others.
Cheers

If you do and get with a mobile phone it's the trouble with technology it advanced too much what I suggest is screenshotting the photo it will reduce the revolution down and show make it about 3mb. For U that's that's what I did to get around it last time

Which visa are you applying for? No need for visa, for stays of less than 90 days.
Send it to a contact on what's app, and ask them to return it. it wiill come. back the correct size.
I received a request for me to take a selfie with my telephone on a white background.
They would not accept photo booth passport photo like previous years.

What I do is use my IPad to do this part. You have the option to take the photo directly via the form and then automatically gives you the right resolution. Using a PC will not help you here

Try taking a screenshot.
Then send to yourself as an email.
I used Gmail.
Then choose the lowest resolution smallest data size.
