I just arrived from Taipei to Chiang Mai 12/13/26 11:00.
The airport was not crowded.
Immigration had many officers waiting for us.
I showed the officer my DTV Visa stapled in the passport.
He asked no questions, smiled and said β Welcome to Thailand."
I checked my passport and was correctly stamped in for 180 days.
NOTE: there was a typed document in multiple languages pasted on the immigration window saying, βPlease show your hotel or address where you will be staying".
Remember this is one of the "3 Proofs"that we hear about. I was not asked but I had a reservation for a $4 hotel.
How many of you remember the other 2 "Proofs"?
Addendum: This was was entry number 6 through CNX, DMK and BKK since getting the DTV 1 year ago.
Thailand has served as a very convenient hub to travel to neighboring countries n past years. Make sure you are looking like a traveler, not a resident, and you should be fine.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual recently arrived in Chiang Mai on a DTV Visa and successfully went through immigration with no issues. They mentioned that immigration officers were present and welcoming, and they received a stamp for 180 days. A note in immigration stated that travelers should present proof of their accommodation, although they were not asked for it. They also reflected on their experiences with multiple entries into Thailand on the same visa and advised others to maintain a traveler appearance at immigration.
