I would not like to put that to the test. I know Thai prisons are likely to become tourist attractions but, personally, I would prefer to keep clear of them.

yes I knew that. I have a seat booked on that flight before 26th September! I understand it has flown weekly throughout but the recess never any real certainty that it would.

The question does appear to be somewhat ambiguous but there is no call for spitefullness. Everyone in Thailand is fine until 26th September provided their Visa did not run out before the due date back in March.

you do NOT need to pay for an extension as the amnesty lasts until Sept 26th for everyone.

Yes you can. Get a reliable agent preferably on personal recommendation. Go to their office and let them take you through the process. Pay! You may have to do the last bit first.

When will Bangkok Airport fully reopen for international flights?

I was at BKK on Sunday and it was almost deserted. Rows of aircraft lined up going nowhere. A few flights were leaving including Thai and Eva to London Heathrow. Vast majority of flights cancelled. I did not see any flights landing and I did not go to arrivals to look.

I declared all that was in my carry on. They had a look and said it was ok. About half was in my checked in bag in case it went astray.
