you can apply for the non o in home country by showing the funds there. It gives you 90 days to open an an account in Thailand and deposit the funds there for two months before applying for 12 month extension based on being over 50, married etc. Or is that what you meant?

that would not work as the full amount has to stay in the bank for three months after getting the extension and not go below

you do not need your passport to board domestic flights. You can use your Thai driving license so I would imagine that you could also use your pink id card

I have not got either like you. All I have is a rental agreement. Can't do anything about it now as I am not in Thailand. It would have been nice to have known in advance what the new requirements were.

you can order statements and print them yourself from the banking app. It takes a few minutes.

they did for me plus UK bank statements. I was not required to provide anything from the bank.
