To help clarify an ongoing question and help future applicants, I am conducting a survey asking if you were required to obtain a return or onward ticket as a condition for your entry to Thailand, the type of visa you are seeking, and the name of your country of origin and embassy site. Yes, I would say definitely, nowness not the time for any kind of short holiday.

What do you mean. I am in quarantine in Thailand now. Many longtermers were locked out when the pandemic hit. Also. the Chinese market before the pandemic made up 25% of the tourism market, and a significant percentage of them will be coming in, also Chinese are always looking for an exit strategy, whether for when the next virus hits, financial crisis etc. So yes, numbers won't be like before, but people are coming.

I was specifically informed I was not required and came in OK.
