do you have to cancel your visa if you are a tourist? I saw this form is required for tourist visa extensions (at least in Samui).

Do I need a 30-day tourist visa extension before applying for a 60-day COVID extension in Thailand?

Normally you need a 30 day extension on a visa waiver stamp before you can apply for a COVID extension.

By the 25th of August when the current scheme deadline is, you will have about 2 to 3 weeks remaining and with that as the only consideration they might well give you a stamp.
