Does anyone know if Jomtien immigration gives their 60 day COVID extensions from the current expiration date, or if it's from the date you apply? In Udon Thani city and in Chaeng Wattana is was from the current expiration date. I'm trying to figure out which date to go. Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
In Jomtien, when applying for a 60-day COVID extension, the additional days are added to the current expiration date of your visa. It is important to apply from the location where you have a registered TM30. When applying, if you have had a prior COVID extension, you'll receive an "Under Consideration" stamp for 30 days and must return later to receive the full 60 days. Additionally, Jomtien may only accept applications when your current visa stamp is less than a week from expiration.

Rather than "office shopping" if you're that concerned I suggest you go close to the exipration date of your current stamp ๐Ÿ˜‰

Jomitien would accept your application only when your current stamp is less than a week, anyway. So it would not much different (a few days max) on days-count-wise.

First...you are to apply from where you have a TM30 on file as your address ...

Second...as it appears you already have received a COVID extension before ...the 60 days are ADDED on to your current permission to stay ending date.

However...in Jomtien they do not give you the full 60 days on application date...they give you 30 days UNDER CONSIDERATION stamp and you return on date specified to CLOSE the Under Consideration stamp and give you the balance of 60 days.
