Ive been coming to Thailand for some years now and used to live here on a retirement visa..I’m currently here for 4 weeks and have noticed a.big difference in the cost of things and government red tape…My Thai wife and I own a villa here still..but to make money I’ve had to return to my home country..

If Thailand is not going to join the 21st century of streamlining its approach towards foreign visitors and expats its economy will suffer,local businesses will suffer as foreigners are finding other South East Asian countries more user friendly e.g. Vietnam …Phillipines …to name just a couple…

Vietnam although essentially a Communist country..has found a way to attract foreigners and the dollars 💵 they bring with them a boon
