Definitely not 10 days. That's not official yet and just for people who have vaccinated.. I guess they just simple miscalculated your days.

I never did STV but i guess yes. They cancelled long time ago the 12k or something same high amount requirements... 5k is reasonable for STV especially because u can extend 2 times so you can spend 270 days in Thailand.

worth it or not is not your thing to decide ;) I did my 2 weeks quarantine and worth it... everyone have different reasons to go to Thailand. Of course don't worth it for 2 weeks millionaires and sex tourists...
