What are some affordable ASQ hotel recommendations in Thailand?

Doesn't matter. Get the cheapest with a balcony. Bring alcohol.

I recommend the Anantara riverside in bkk. Choose a room with river view.

Hotel Amber Sukhumvit 85 looked good but wasn't available for my dates. I booked Best Western Premier on Sukhumvit 1, similar price. Seems like ages ago (arrived Jan 22). 2 weeks flew by, food was good, more than I could eat. Room comfortable (no balcony but I don't smoke so not a critical factor). The big boon for me was the booking arrangement - I paid 5000 deposit and balance on arrival, thus giving some protection in the event of having to cancel, reschedule, etc. Many places require 100% payment up front which I wasn't too keen on considering the risks such as missing a flight due to a late Covid test result, wrong paperwork, etc.

Cheaper to get the vaccine but must wait til October to enter without paying ASQ price

Avani atrium Bangkok. Prices may be higher due to songkran. Was affordable two months ago. Not sure you will find anything without a huge wait list for less than 2k bht per night ATM.

Don't even think of seasons siam worst 16 days I've ever spent plus all cold food no balcony windows don't open not allowed out of room not 1 English chanel on TV crap

I'm Staying at Westin Sukumvitt supposed to be 5 Star. NOT! Food not good and cost 1900.00 USD

That is only half the answer. What about the price of ASQ packages?

Lohas Residences, rooms have kichen and washing machine and you can go to the rooftop terrace for sunshine and fresh air after day 5

Anantara riverside was excellent

Ibis Style PhraKhanong. We stayed there last month. Nearly 31,000 per person, i guess, 80,000 for my family

siam mandarina hotel. Close to airport, good rooms, good and plenty of free food. good staff and only 39,000 bahts for 15 days.

I dont know what way expensive ones would of been different but I had not one complaint about my stay . The food was great , great staff , you messaged them they respond quickly with your request . Air con was great . Best 30,000baht I've spent in relation to getting food and hotel accommodations for 16 days

I really liked the Qiu Hotel Sukhumvit 79. It was very reasonable back in July when I stated there. I was on the first floor overlooking the pool. After 3 days we could go out and hang poolside. Actually enjoyed the experience.

Definitely don’t go with a cheaper one. I made that mistake. Thank god I’m out now.
