Got mine on visa exemption, going with the right person. Tried to sell me their insurance too. Now I am expat and they try to sell me insurance, which by the way not cover much.

I managed. They accepted the mixture 800k in bank and transfer. But asked to choose for future. No more shady offices, 1900 BHT and done. Surprisingly immigration was very cooperative

Been today. Officer give answer tomorrow. The not seem to hold previous against me, as I had proof enough of transfer and means. In fact I rely on their good will for only one thing. That is affidavit by a embassy of income. I have no pension. My firm pays me payback on investment every month. My firm is in France, I am Belgian, that seems problem, as embassy cannot give affidavit on that

Like it was stated here, they have all your history in the computer. I traveled years to Thailand, never had problem entering. I have now a retirement visa, and I live here here with my wife. We left a month to Europe, had thought about the re entry permit, and yet had interrogation at the airport for an hour. I heard they are checking everything and making hard time for some these days. They asked about my retirement-visa, said, I had to follow Thai laws and respect the king. I stayed cool, and smiling, and said to them, if something is wrong, they should inquire with Chonburi immigration, who gave me the visa. And that I follow all Thai laws, and cannot be hold responsible if Chonburi immigration, made a mistake. After 30 minutes, it was ok, for me, but not for my Philippine wife. New discussion. The head officer, kept moving my passport for and back, would not surprised, that he expected a few bills in it. This the last thing I would do! Finally, he let us go, but when we passed the boot, again one of the officiers inside, said to him, something is wrong. But then he gave some instructions and we were stamped. Do not know what they see in the computer, to have all this trouble! But when we went to get our luggage, the officer came after us, and asked, if we could buy him chocolates for his trouble. Now, this was in March. They had probably time on their hands.

She is very reasonable. She is not a lawfirm. She can tell you how to set up a company, or take over one. She will in case you want to buy, make an audit of the company you take over. She will see if that company has debts,if registration at land office has been done right. You can pm me.

Houses in a good village, are sometimes a better investment then a condo for resale. In condos more competition to sell and rent. Yes for a house you must be couscious, as by Thai law, foreigner can not own land. But have you any idea, how much foreigners are living in their own land on Thai company? If all these would have problems, you think they would buy? Never put on Thai gf or wife. Take someone trustfully, to make your company, I have a good advisor, that will not screw you, and also will beware you for bad deals/take overs. She is well known
