My wife and I own a home. Of course it is in her name only. I am here on a retirement extension. If she should pass away before me. Will I be able to sell it.? We have one son who is a US Citizen and will be coming to Thailand soon. He does not have Thai citizenship yet. He does plan on obtaining it in the future. Is there anybody that has gone through this experience on how to plan for this event. I do know I cannot own land. However the plan is to pass it down to our son in the future.
Given that many had their bank accounts locked due to weird visa situations. I have also heard many business had problems because of the proxy owner work-around.

My wife (not official) brain cancer and cannot do much other then breathe. My non o extension comes due in February next year. She owns the lamd and house where we live with my 13 year old daughter (not official). She has a brother and sister (with family) with us in one of her houses. Any idea on what I need to do? Clarfication: I am on a non retirement extension. I do not want her land or any of her houses. I live in nomans land out in the country North of Korat. I am 68 years old. I do not want to move to another house. I know I can extend if I get a lease elswhere. We did not sign a lease for where I am staying with her now which is at her house.
Bank own houses in Thailand is it fair to say if bank wants 1 million for house and house has been sitting to offer 500000 or us that taking it to low.
