you will find the protocol on Bangkok Bank website. Print it, bring it to the bank and anyway most of them will kick you out. It's a hit n miss.

In Jomtien it's usually done to the next day. You might ask "how much is express?"

For the transfer you need the sellers documents. Usually the buyer or the shop goes for it to the DLT.

It's never the Bank, who forces you to buy an insurance. It's the staff who want's to make some xtra money. Most banks are trying like that now. If it's only about 2000,- THB, just accept instead of paying some agent. Agents often ask for 5k for opening an account.
