Keep them in a safe. I'm assuming you're in Thailand for a long stay, otherwise you would just take them back on the plane yourself. Why bother trying to send them back? Keep them in Thailand. Hard currency can only be bought at a premium in Thailand. If you travel to a neighboring country, you'll want to be exchanging dollars, not thai baht. It's always a smart idea to have a stack of benjamins stashed away in case of emergencies.
