You need to have your marriage certificate authenticated through a few steps before it can be used in Thailand. First, it must be authenticated by the Secretary of State in the state where you were married. Then, it needs to be authenticated by the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C., followed by authentication by the Thai Embassy in the U.S.

After that, have the document translated into Thai and bring it to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) in Bangkok to be legalized for official use in Thailand.

I'm currently going through this process myself. There are third-party service providers that can handle the entire U.S. side for you, and you can likely find visa service providers in Bangkok to assist with the Thai side.

It’s definitely a long and somewhat frustrating process, but unfortunately, it has to be done.

Seems like the government is trying to change it back to 30 day but nothing official as of yet.
