Just use the same passport entering and leaving the same country, US immigration has no rights to ask u about exit stamps from Thailand, they should ask Thai immigration directly, since u cannot tell Thai immigration what to stamp or no stamp. Just my opinion.
I am in the process of getting it, my residence cert should come by mail in about 1 to 2 weeks, medical cert is easily done with any clinic. But the appointment queue from DLT web for Bang chak office is not available until jan od 2025😱, so i will just go there without appointment and see what happen.
i got my non o-a from the state and have been here since Sept 2023. here is what you need to do for Non OA visa.
the 800K Baht equivalent can be USD in your US bank account when applying - fund must be in account for i think at least 2 months before visa application - check the thai consulate web it should mentioned there.
the lease agreement for can be a proof of hotel booking.
you must buy medical insurance by approved provider - i bought from AXA the very basic plan for Non OA requirement - i believe its USD$200+ per year.
medical form signed by your doctor, criminal back ground check from CIA - you can do the life scan at some of the FedEx/UPS location - i got mine within the same day.
submit all the necessary to Thail consulate web, pay the fee and if approved the visa should be sent to you via email.
i bring all the doc with me when arriving BKK airport just in case the officer ask for it.
I opened 2 accounts with same name one for the 800k and one for daily spending no problem with K bank.
But be prepared to get all docs with you.
Passport, visa info, proof of residence (lease contract - make sure all name/passport # match on lease contract some bank examine them letter by letter). Get to bank early it took them quite sometimes to finish 1 account.
