oh yes, and you are exactly right. I am under the impression that NON OA cannot be extended within Thailand. And only NON O can be issued within Thailand. It is good to know that it can be and you have done it multiple times. Thanks.

I read so many post about IDP only valid for 3 months in Thailand, i guess its for driving with it.

Non OA the money can be in your country's bank 800k baht equivalent + bank letter is alao required.

i really dont use it at all (never submit any claims). This is only for visa application.

As most medical insurance in asia, they have alot of exception for claims, ie any pre-existing conditions or related issie will not be covered. Say if you are on blood pressure pills than most heart related issue will not be covered. And the medical care here is reasonable priced so i can afford it (knock on wood).
