There is a limit of 2 land crossings a calendar year to get a new Exempt Entry. And no stated limit on Visa Runs - although at any given Consulate 4 to 5 Visa applications will likely get a red stamp (no more).

My understanding while not required the company visit is quite common and the visual verification of employees is quite common. Of course I am speaking of a One Year Extension for a Company Share Holder / Director. I submitted 2 different batches of photos prior to the company visit. The I/O didn't like the placement of the sign on the outside of the building.

Okay - situation - you have the 90 day B Visa - you have your WP. In the last 45 days (some offices insist on last 30) you apply for the One Year Extension of Stay. This can take one or two meetings close together (depending if there are any deficiencies). Then there is a 30 day wait for the Extension Application goes to higher headquarters (usually Bkk) - for Shareholder / Director of a company - during this 30 days there is a visit by an I/O to inspect / check out the business and take a photo of the employees.

In short the One Year Extension is stamped in 30 days after the Application is submitted.

You can get Multi-Entry Tourist Visas giving up to 9 months if used correctly

Unless you are age 50 or more - your exact plan for one year is not possible... Unless you buy the Elite Card for 500,000 Baht and get dependent Visas for the family
