If you stay in Phuket in the rainy season its very convenient to have a car, even a used older car. But please buy a popular car model, as spare pates are cheaper and garages easier to find. Adapt to the local market. I drive here a small Toyota Vios and I am quite happy with it.

Do Brasil ? You might have to check if passengers from Brasil don't have to do quarantine when arriving on let's say European soil.

It's rather the other around: Especially in Europe they do impose quarantine now as well. But in many cases in a very "lukewarm" form: Just stay at home.

But checks have shown that in many many cases this did not work at all.
