can you please confirm you need to have made at least 1 extension on an A-O before you can get an extension based on marriage to a Thai? I was told I could do it at Hua Hin and given the list however we didn’t discuss about having made a previous (in country) extension? I also got in without having having insurance if that matters.

Let me make it clear, I am very grateful for the knowledgeable information passed on by the moderators in this group. I try to only offer constructive criticism for you to consider. It has been frustrating to want to ask or post what I believe is relevant only to find a post quickly shut down. I do understand that posts can go off topic so I’m not arguing about that, in fact I’m all for running a tight ship. Just hoping for a little bit of flexibility.

I can confirm they do photos at MTT. 100 baht while you wait (quick) although I didn’t need any for my Residence Certificate which was easy and quick and will be mailed out. Cost 200 baht and you need 2 if you want it for a car & motorbike LICENCE renewal so 400baht. Only 1 application is required
