ATTENTION MEMBERS:

"Close the loop" stamps from Chiang Mai and Hua Hin Immigration offices..

We are seeing some people who used the Chiang Mai and/or the Hua Hin immigration offices got under consideration stamps to get a 30 day embassy request extension get stamped in until Dec 30 when they go back to get the "loop closed".

At first we thought it was just a mistaken stamp (the ink roller wasn't set on Nov but Dec) but too many people are getting the stamp for that to have happened. At this time we don't know why they are getting stamped in until that date.

I am offering this out as a heads up only. I don't know why it is happening at ONLY those two immigration offices.

We don't know why they're doing to to SOME people but not others, we don't know why they aren't doing it to people who go back to get their stamp adjusted (those people are getting only until Nov 30).
