airlines are the ones who are responsible to take you back if you're denied entry. They are the ones who must make sure you are eligible and have all correct documents or they will be r3sponsible to fly you back on the next flight, so they take it seriously

According to this, the child born in Thailand can be a thai citizen by rights of soil. But the parents had to live here for 5 years. A list of all rights of soil countries.
