What are the best companies for a border run in Thailand and do they charge for children?

Question!: I am a US citizen flying with my 9 year old. We flew into Thailand May 19th and I received the visa on arrival. I extended once for 30 days (overstayed by 2 days by accident smh) and just extended Monday , they only gave me 7 days for some reason.

Wondering what are the best companies to use to do a border run? How much they charge? Would I need to bring my daughter? Will they charge for her also even though she doesn’t need a stamp (she’s exempt because of age)

TLDR : Answer Summary
A US citizen is seeking advice on border run options after receiving a 7-day exit stamp due to a visa extension denial. They are curious about reputable companies for border runs, the costs involved, and whether their daughter, who is under the age exemption, would incur any charges. Responses indicate that only one extension is allowed per entry and that overstaying complicates re-entry. Suggestions include flying to nearby countries for a proper visa before trying to re-enter Thailand.

Hope you're not blacklisted... Best way is go to Laos and get TR visa.. And of course with your daughter.

If your plan is to stay longer, better to get a proper visa.

😁You are not responsible enough for a 30 day extension. You broke the law. You have 7 days to leave.

Oh dear, home you go

Get a visa or get denied. Its as simple as that.

Is it not different for US citizens under treaty of Amity! ?

u already overstayed which makes everything way more complicated. I suggest you to fly to KL or Vientiane and get a tourist visa. It's very likely you'll get denied if you try to entry visa exempt. Is your daughter thai as well or she owns just your country passport?
Craig ********
you might want to consider spending some time in neighboring countries. They gave you the extension denied, 7 days to exit stamp. You may, or may not, have issues trying to get back in visa-exempt. They are likely to say "you overstayed your last visa exempt stamp, sorry, entry denied". So if you try, at least have a backup plan.

HI. 7 DAYS EXIST is not good. I hope they don't deny you re-entry. Please exit do a visa and come back. Oh is your daughter thai?
Jeremy ********
You can’t do 2 30 day extensions in country…only one is allowed per visa exemption stamp… they were nice to give you 7 days to depart
Jeremy ********
They gave you the 7 day to exit Thailand stamp…why don’t you just fly to KL, Malaysia then return same day or at a later time…for Air Ins there are no official limit on how many you can receive, and each one can be extended for 30 days at a price of ฿1,900 at your local immigration office

@Jeremy *******
bullshit, I entered the country for the 3rd time by air 2 weeks ago and the officer at the bkk airport asked me a lot of questions about the reasons I was in thaiand for such a long time. He allowed me for one last time after I showed the ticket for leaving the country within 2 weeks and 2000us$ cash. He told me if I get back again this year, I better get a visa. No official limits doesn't mean you can do in and out forever

i visit Thailand

times every year and only on a visa exempt. Never had any problems or questions asked.

@Luc ***********
cuz you probably stay there for a few days and then leave. We were talking about someone who wants to live in thailand for a long term doing border bounce every months or 2 (in case of extension).

@Michael *********
why not get a visa suitable for staying in thailand long term instead of running the gauntlet of immigration officers?
Jeremy ********
@Michael *********
it’s all bark and it shook you, you encountered the overzealous I/O…but there is no official limit on his amount of times you can do an Air In
Michael **********
@Jeremy *******
bullshit again, there are hundreds of thousands of posts of people who got issues, especially during the past few months after covid. You CAN'T fly in and out of the country every month (+ extesion) if you don't have a proper visa. There are a lot of people (including me) that got warned not to come back again without a visa
Jeremy ********
@Michael *********
a warning is not the same as a Denial of Entry...you still got in
Michael **********
@Jeremy *******
damn, u are really freaking dumb. An officer has the right to deny your entry in the country anytime he wants. There are people who had the visa and got denied as well. Try to fly in and out of thailand, visa exempt, for a whole year and you'll see whatever u get denied or not...
Jeremy ********
@Michael *********
you're just ignorant and you have provided zero evidence to the amount of times one can enter via Air Ins....not my problem
Michael **********
@Jeremy *******
oh, I just realized you are the special one. Yes, you are right, you can enter thailand as many times as you want.Good boy
Jeremy ********
@Michael *********
Once again there is no official limit on the amount of Air Ins one can do...now that doesn't mean you wont be questioned by an overzealous I/O...you were questioned by an overzealous I/O and guess what, they still let you in...
Michael **********
@Jeremy *******
it's a waste of time talking to you.

@Michael *********
the same, I'm losing IQ points corresponding with you

@Jeremy *******
you should stop then, you already sound like a r3 tard

@Michael *********
no im replying to one
Jeremy ********
@Michael *********
ok show me the proof that there is a limit on the amount of Fly Ins one can do...i will wait patiently for you to present your evidence that you only get X amount of fly ins

Border run? Your extension was denied.
Mike *******
“ … for some reason” 🤔
Jeremy ********
@Mike ******
if you read her post I think she tried to do 2 30 day extensions in a row
Mike *******
@Jeremy *******
I was referring to the overstay (in combination with the extensions), obviously the reason for the seven day eviction notice. And yes, I was being ironic.
Jeremy ********
@Mike ******
very rarely do you see people get those when they apply for the 30 day extension…it’s like winning the lottery
Jared **********
@Jeremy *******
very rarely do you see people going for a second 30 day extension, which doesn’t exist. So “winning the lottery” has absolutely nothing to do with the “leave in 7 days stamp”

Not getting the first 30 day extension would be as rare as you say as thats generally just a formality

Also i think Mike meant he was being sarcastic, not ironic. You definitely have to be pretty out to lunch trying to get back to back extensions, much less after overstaying.
Braulio *********
Seven days to exit Thailand.
Brandon ************
You're only allowed to get 1 tourist extension per entry. You didn't get a 7 day extension you got a 7 day "extension denied, you must leave Thailand" stamp.

If you take your daughter of course they are going to charge. Just because your daughter cannot be fined or banned for overstay doesn't mean she's not on overstay. If she goes with you on a border bounce trip they're going to charge because she's taking up room and she's going to leave and re-enter the country same as you.
