Hello, I’m traveling from Australia to Bangkok for 37 days as a tourist. Is the single entry tourist visa my only option ? ( applied for before leaving)
What is the current length for visa exempt entry (British passport)? If my dad has a return flight booked after 45 days, is his best bet to get a single entry tourist visa in advance and so get 60 days? Or is there another way?
Advice sought: my wife and I work in a neighbouring country to Thailand. We plan to spend August near Hua Hin in a private rented house. We hold UK passports so normally enter as tourists on a visa-free basis and get a 30-day stamp (we rarely stay more than a week). Our August plans mean we will spend more than 30 days this time.
Two questions:
How easy is it to get a 30-day tourist visa extension at the Hua Hin Immigration office?
How does one get a TM 30, which I understand is required, if staying in a private house?
I'm thinking about coming to Thailand in March with my daughter. I know staying for 6 months is an option for us but it looks like a really confusing process. I keep reading about 30 day extensions, covid extensions, 90 day check-ins, education visas, landlord forms and a bunch of other stuff and I'm totally confused. I homeschool my daughter so she won't be attending school there. We are both double vaccinated if that makes a difference. I would like to able to travel around Thailand freely without needing to keep going back to the original location to extend visas. What is the best & most stress free way to do this? 😊
has anyone who applied for e-visa.I cannot find section where i can choose stv (only tv).I want to be in thailand for the 271 days for the birth of my son,but i read with tv you only can stay a total of 60=30 days.grrrrrr
Hello all, can somebody please advise on the Visa process. I will be in Thailand for just under 90 days with my friends. Am I best off applying for the 60 day SETV and then potentially getting a 30 day extension when there. Or, am I best to arrive in Thailand with the 30 day Visa exemption, extend by another 30 days whilst there and then cross the border and back to get another 30 day visa extension? Sorry for the lengthy question, am just trying to get my head round it. Also, I travel in 6 weeks if that makes a difference. Thank-you
Hey guys new here. I was just wondering if anyone knew how many single entry tourist visas you can use in a year? I entered Thailand November last year on a setv and extended for 30 days.. Headed to KL at the end of Jan and got a new setv. My plan is to extend it for 30 days but I was wondering if people are doing these more than 2 times. Any experience would be much appreciated :)
Hello. I want to stay three months in Thailand this winter. I was thinking about using my marriage certificate and applying in England. However, I don't see my Thai wife anymore but we are not officially divorced. Any thoughts on that?
My boyfriend and I (we are both from the UK) are travelling to Thailand in September for the first time, we would like to stay for two months then move onto travel neighbouring countries for a few months. We then plan to come back to Thailand again for a month or two. Just wondering what the best visa option is for us both to make this possible? How many times can you return to Thailand in one year? Thanks.
I have a friend from the States wanting to come and visit me here in CM for three months this fall before returning home. Does she need to get a visa in the States before coming or is it easy enough to try and extend things once she gets here? (We do plan to visit Penang once while she's here, if that's helpful info.)
