It doesn’t matter I don’t think.. as long as you arrive within 2 months of your visa being issued.

Trash Hero is an event that’s run all over Thailand on a weekly basis where people join and clean up beaches/villages etc. I joined a clean up day when I was in Koh Chang. What’s the issue?
