Sorry, I should say that’s a new one to me. I haven’t heard of this before. I was just curious. I got my DTV the first week it was announced in the UK through my company working online.

For the interview I guess it depends if you’re pretending to be on a soft power or actually using the DTV legitimately.

I applied 12 months ago from the UK and I provided 6 months bank statements with the month I applied showing funds I had transferred in from another account to make up the 500k. I was approved no issues.

Yes it’s not a requirement. Once the visa has been issued there are no more checks.

The DTV is still relatively new to a lot of immigration officers. I did a border bounce in and out at Nong Khai yesterday and they had never seen a DTV she asked me how long she needs to stamp me in! She was cool and we had a joke about it. Then she used my phone to work out 180 days. All good 👌

TikTok services in Pattaya have been providing bank accounts with Bangkok bank for years on tourist visas. 5000 baht. In and out within the hour. I did mine long before I had the DTV
